Roland Berger, a European consultancy, has partnered with DFINITY Foundation to create the first global standard for incentivising recycling using blockchain-powered Voluntary Recycling Credits.

ckETH: a canister-issued Ether twin token on the IC
- The decision to delay introducing full KYT for ckETH was influenced by the rule of exchanging ETH without KYT in the wider blockchain space. The first version of the canister implements OFAC blacklisting, provides full traceability, and offers basic protection for legitimate holders.
New SNS governance proposal action: ManageLedgerParameters
- The change introduces a new sns governance proposal action, ManageLedgerParameters, which instructs the root canister to upgrade the ledger to its current wasm module with updated parameters.
IC WebSocket: Stable Release
- IC WebSocket is now available for use in canisters, with a simpler and lightweight protocol compared to the beta release. The SDKs include Javascript SDK, Rust CDK, and Motoko CDK. A fully managed version of IC WebSocket Gateway is hosted, and examples can be found in repositories.
