    • Long Term R&D: Integration with the Ethereum Network

      • Jun 14, @Dieter from DFINITY team updated: The DFINITY Foundation decided to build the ckETH and ckERC-20 ourselves. Q4 may be a rough estimate, without giving a strong commitment. Also note that this will initially be built on the HTTP outcalls, and later move to the Phase-2 native implementation. Work on Phase 2 will pick up again later.

      • May 19, Dieter from DFINITY Team updated: will provide an update on ckETH / ckERC20 and the remaining parts of Ethereum-related sub-projects in a few days.

    • Direct Integration with Bitcoin

      • Jun 16, @Manu from DFINITY team updated the progress about the watchdog canister, DFINITY set up some tooling that queries the height of the Bitcoin canister. This monitoring currently relies on DFINITY’s involvement, and DFINITY thought to improve things further by instead having this monitoring system run as an autonomous “watchdog canister” on the Internet Computer.

      • DFINITY plans to submit proposals in the coming weeks to

        • Install the watchdog canister under NNS control

        • Update the Bitcoin canisters (mainnet and testnet) to allow the watchdog canister to pause and unpause its operations

      • Jun 12, Search engine project @andreea updated the roadmap and mentioned they are targeting to launch the SNS in Q4 2023. That’s the moment when Querio will become open-sourced.

      • Jun 11, Search engine project @andreea updated: Querio’s search engine goes on-chain.

      • Jun 13, @Imuntaner from DFINITY team mentioned that DFINITY is in reviewing the roadmap and he will share the community feedback to the product manager.

      • Jun 11, @Imuntaner from DFINITY team confirmed ICP Ledger App supports SNS transactions. It supports any ICRC1 transaction. Also for ICP token. But the team haven’t yet implemented this functionality in the NNS Dapp.

      • Jun 15, @ais from DFINITY team updated that this topic under exploration stage yet and update the community about the progress once be ready.
