• Core Protocol Progress

  • Deterministic Time Slicing - no updates

    • Brief: Many messages that currently fail due to the instruction limit error, will succeed once DTS is implemented. Developers do not need to take any actions to benefit from DTS. fix the problem by supporting multi-round WebAssembly execution of update messages. Note that supporting long-running query messages is out of scope of this proposal.

    • Mar 9, Ulan from DFINITY team agreed and will add a section on DTS and how it works in: Internet Computer Content Validation Bootstrap 4

  • Improved I/O Handling in State Manager - no updates

    • Brief: In order to be able to serve millions of smart contracts, the scalability of the Internet Computer protocol and implementation will be improved to support more nodes per subnet to be able to tolerate a higher number of malicious nodes, higher throughput, and less overhead for users as well as for network operations.

    • Apr 27, Yvonne-Anne Pignolet from DFINITY team updated that currently team is focussing on BTC integration and HTTP calls from canisters. Due to our limited number of people, the long term research not yet be focused.

    • Jun 9, @apotheosis updated, Kinin SNS launch has 10,000 ICP raised in a bit over 14 hours, 190,000 in under two days. The open sale still on going.

  • Querio is live: Search the Internet Computer

    • Jun 11, Search engine project @andreea updated: Querio’s search engine goes on-chain.

  • Ledger Device & SNS

    • Jun 11, @Imuntaner from DFINITY team confirmed ICP Ledger App supports SNS transactions. It supports any ICRC1 transaction. Also for ICP token. But the team haven’t yet implemented this functionality in the NNS Dapp.

  • GDPR compliant nodes and subnets

  • Jun 10, currently working with DFINITY team to get on Global R&D June (to be confirmed), and will also release the demo video over the weekend.

• Upcoming Hot or Not SNS decentralization sale

  • Jun 10, community members is asking for more details about the token allocation and lockup schedule.

• Jun 6, The local testing solution for SNS launches was released, allowing developers to experience the full process on their laptops – before they go live on the mainnet.
